Fantastic $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy
After a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time that lasts through early December. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by a specialized software company throughout their history, the complete package carries a value of over $1,300. Additionally, there exist multiple package options offered in this deal.
Primary Feature
The big draw is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.
A regional fantasy map generated in Campaign Cartographer 3+.
Package Levels
Basic Package
The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Intermediate Package
The eight-product collection for at least $15 offers enhanced value through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.
Complete Collection
For a minimum of $30, the 39-item bundle contains these components:
- Advanced Terrain Generator
- Dungeon Designer 3
- City Designer 3
- Cosmographer 3
- Viewpoint Enhancement
- Scene Builder
- Character Artist 3
- Fantasy Interior Symbols
- Symbol Set 3: Modern
- Schley Dungeon Collection
- Symbol Set 5: Cities of Schley
- Token Treasury: Monsters 2
- Religious Structure Maps
- Historical War Maps

- Campaign Cartographer 3+ (Lifetime License)
- Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities
- Tome of Ultimate Mapping
- Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland
- Token Treasury: Monsters 1
- Source Maps: Castles!
- Source Maps: Cities!
All 17 volumes from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and continents in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get introductory guides to help you get started. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.
Philanthropic Aspect
Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief. The Bundle Filters option is toward the top of the page, but you can also select any amount for a donation in the right-hand section. Additionally available is an "Adjust Donation" drop-down immediately below, enabling adjustment of how much of your donation goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
